When you reach the age of 70 your driving licence entitlement expires. Classic FM and the DVLA have teamed up to help you renew your driving licence if you’re 70 years or older.

90 days before your 70th birthday the DVLA will send you a reminder form, which you can either fill out and return by post or you can apply online. Applying online is much quicker and more convenient, and this guide will show you how.

However - if you have and want to retain your entitlement to drive a minibus or medium sized vehicle, you'll still need to apply by post.

If you need guidance with your application see the help guides provided below or go directly to the Directgov website to complete your application’.
